What should I wear?

Something loose and comfortable - jogging trousers / tracksuit bottoms.  Bring a warm top for the relaxation session .... and lots of students like to bring a blanket to keep really cosy during the relaxation period.

 

What do I need to bring?

A non-slip yoga mat if you have one.  Alternatively, I have a few spares so you can borrow one - particularly if you are coming along for the first time.  If you have yoga blocks, bring them too.

 

Do I need to be young and flexible to attend?

No.  Yoga will help you gain or re-gain flexibility, and many students are more mature.

 

What will happen in the class?

The class starts with a short period of relaxing preparing for the yoga session.  Then we do postures (asanas) and breath work (pranayama).  I may end the class with a short session of concentration of meditation before the final relaxation.

 

Are men welcome in the class?

Yes.  All classes are suitable for men or women.
